Sailfish Swim Team

Hi everyone! I'm Melody Giberson, originally from Atlanta, GA. I moved to the area to swim and attend college at Georgia Southern, and recently relocated to Savannah for work. Being away from the pool made me realize how much I missed swimming, so I'm incredibly excited to be part of this team! I've been in the water for as long as I can remember and swam competitively through all four years of college at Georgia Southern. Throughout that time, I had the opportunity to be part of several teams, which helped me develop a deep appreciation for every aspect of the sport.

For the past 8+ years, I've been teaching private swim lessons to swimmers of all ages and skill levels, helping them build confidence and feel comfortable in the water. This past year, 1 also coached my own swim team in Statesboro, which was an experience I absolutely loved. Coaching has really strengthened my passion for helping swimmers grow, improve, and enjoy the process. I'm really looking forward to getting to know everyone, bringing positive energy to the pool, and being part of an amazing season!
